Highway Audio Test: 2024 Tesla Model 3 Long Range (17‑Speaker) at 100 km/h

Evaluamos el sistema de audio inmersivo de 17 altavoces del Model 3 Long Range renovado en un recorrido controlado a 100 km/h, combinando mediciones de SPL calibradas con una escucha subjetiva para juzgar la separación de sonido, el equilibrio de frecuencias y la capacidad de enmascarar el ruido de la carretera.

Prueba del coche: Modelo 3 Long Range AWD 2024 con el sistema de 17 altavoces (modos inmersivos habilitados/deshabilitados), llantas de 19 pulgadas con neumáticos de temporada fresca a 42 psi. Las fuentes de audio fueron USB FLAC (44.1–96 kHz) y Bluetooth AAC desde un iPhone. Las mediciones se realizaron con un NTi XL2 (Clase 1) y una referencia calibrada a 94 dB, con el micrófono en la posición del oído izquierdo del conductor. Temperatura ambiente de 21°C, sin viento.

Dos superficies: asfalto liso y sellado rugoso. HVAC configurado en Nivel 2, recirculación apagada. El ruido de referencia en la cabina a 100 km/h se midió en 61.5 dBA Leq (asfalto liso) y 66.8 dBA Leq (rugoso). Los datos de 1/3 de octava muestran energía dominante en la banda de 80–160 Hz (ruido de neumáticos) con un aumento secundario alrededor de 1–2 kHz en la superficie rugosa.

No se evidenciaron picos tonales del tren motriz; el perfil de ruido es de banda ancha y principalmente inducido por la carretera. Balance de frecuencia (asiento del conductor, controles de tono planos, Inmersivo configurado en Estándar): el RTA en el coche con ruido rosa a 75 dBC Leq mostró una extensión utilizable hasta ~35 Hz (punto a -6 dB) con un leve bache de +2 a +3 dB centrado cerca de 90–100 Hz. Los medios bajos (250–500 Hz) están ~1–2 dB por debajo de la referencia de 1 kHz, lo que ayuda a la claridad, pero puede debilitar las voces masculinas a bajos volúmenes. La presencia (2–5 kHz) es notablemente uniforme; el extremo superior se relaja suavemente por encima de 10 kHz en ~1.5 dB fuera del eje, manteniendo bajo control las sibilancias.

Enmascaramiento del ruido de la carretera a 100 km/h: En asfalto liso (61.5 dBA), la música ajustada a ~72–74 dBA Leq en el reposacabezas preservó los microdetalles sin esfuerzo; los transitorios de la caja y la reverberación de la sala se mantuvieron intactos. En superficies rugosas (66.8 dBA), la banda de ruido de la carretera de 80–160 Hz se superpone al refuerzo de medio-bajo del sistema, enmascarando la definición del bombo y los tonos graves de las voces masculinas; lograr una claridad equivalente requirió +6–8 dB (78–80 dBA Leq), lo que empieza a sentirse gritado con el tiempo. Un pequeño ajuste de ecualización—‑2 dB alrededor de 100 Hz y +1 dB cerca de 3 kHz—restauró la definición, así que la claridad aceptable volvió a ~75–76 dBA.

Veredicto: El sistema del Model 3 LR es líder en su clase en imagen y equilibrio general, con un auténtico alcance de baja frecuencia y un escenario amplio y cohesivo en Inmersivo Estándar. El enmascaramiento en carretera es muy bueno en asfalto liso y aceptable en superficies rugosas con pequeños ajustes de ecualización. Para trayectos largos a 100 km/h, recomiendo Inmersivo Estándar, una ligera reducción en bajos/medio-bajos, y un volumen objetivo de 73–76 dBA Leq para maximizar la claridad mientras se minimiza la fatiga.

Aquellos que priorizan la máxima tranquilidad deberían considerar compuestos de banda de rodadura más silenciosos o reducir el tamaño de los paquetes de llanta/neumático.
