Seis meses de pruebas en carreteras variadas en el Reino Unido, junto con un seguimiento del mercado, nos permiten ofrecer cifras concretas sobre el costo total de propiedad del Civic Type R durante 3 años o 45,000 km, sin perder de vista cómo se comporta en el día a día.

El último Civic Type R (FL5) combina un motor turbo de 2.0 litros con 329 CV y 420 Nm, una caja de cambios manual de seis velocidades y un diferencial de deslizamiento limitado helicoidal. Con un peso de 1,429 kg, se siente ligero y ágil, cuenta con una palanca de cambios suave y frenos que aguantan paradas repetidas en carreteras B sin sobrecalentarse. Nuestro modelo venía con neumáticos Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 265/30 ZR19 de fábrica; el precio de lista en la prueba era de £49,995 OTR.
